Another case for phasers

There is a story going around about the AP reporter held with other security threats, without charges in US run detention center. He is one of 14,000 that are said to be held world wide. It seems they were all picked up during war operations.
We only recently started having this type of problem with our enemies. When we stopped just shooting them or interrogating them and then shooting them. Remember the saying about dead men tell no tales? Well it’s also a bit tougher to get the ACLU on their side if they’re dead.
It’s hopeful to note that in the enlightened future we will be able to use phasers and eliminate any evidence that they ever even existed.
What AP reporter?
Did you see an AP reporter?
No, I thought you burnt the toast
