I caught a bit of Rosalinda Guillen on with Joe Teehan last night. I was impressed with her again, this time on two accounts.
First, that she identified herself as an American, and even though it was obvious that she did not agree with President Bush on immigration issues, she spoke in a respectful tone towards him and referred to him as her President. She also referred to Mexican President Fox as a foreign dignitary and offered him respect, but not allegiance. Her demeanor encouraged me to listen to her opinion on issues rather than encouraging me to turn off the radio, the way that Joe usually does.
Second, she seemed to have the ability to either encourage or shame Joe into some better behavior.
Anyways, Rosalinda Guillen, Community to Community Development, an impressive woman from the other side of many issues.
