GPS for Mexicans illegally entering US

I’ve been told many times that the flood of illegal immigrants does not constitute an Mexican invasion. Yet when you read articles like this, what the heck are you supposed to think.

Telegraph | News | Sat Nav for Mexicans illegally entering US
Illegal immigrants planning to cross the desert and enter the US on foot are to be given hand-held satellite devices by the Mexican authorities to ensure they arrive safely.

And this is in addition to the little books they print on how to cross and how to soak our social service system when they get here. I bet the coyotes are already using GPS’s, but this is the Mexican government: I say it’s an invasion.

Sure they say it’s for safety, but wouldn’t it be safer to offer health care, social programs and an economy that creates jobs so that no one would be heading to the desert? Maybe the Mexican government could put some of their citizens to work building their own fence with water stations and directions back home instead of here.

Yes, it I believe it is legit. If you Google Jaime Obregon, the coordinator for the state commission for migrants in Puebla, you’ll be amazed at the well funded and organized illegal railroad North that they have set up. You get a bit more perspective if you use Google translate and read the Spanish language sites.

OK, now THAT has got to be just about the goofiest thing I have ever heard.

Has anyone corroborated the UK Telegraph’s story? Seems like a New Year’s prank to me.

    Can NOT be for real.
