Christmas Eve Service

9:30 pm to 10:30 pm
Evergreen Community Church
in Ferndale
corner of Enterprise and Grandview Roads

Wally, Mrs. Wally and our 2 little wallys will be there on Christmas Eve. We’d love to see you there for an hour of Christmas music and worship. I also hear there will be puppets and a few treats.

Evergreen Community Church is a nice little church with some really great people and families. More info and directions are on our website

And you who are busy with the busyness of today, remember this small lesson from the Whos, who knew the Way.

‘Pooh-pooh to the Whos!’ he was grinch-ish-ly humming.
‘They’re finding out now that no Christmas is coming.’
‘They’re just waking up, I know just what they’ll do. Their mouths will hang open a minute or two,
then the Whos down on Who-ville will all cry boo-hoo.’

But every Who down in Who-ville, the tall and the small, was singing! Without any presents at all.

He hadn’t stopped Christmas from coming! It came! Somehow or other, it came just the same.

Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before.
‘Maybe Christmas,’ he thought, ‘doesn’t come from a store.’
‘Maybe Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.

I pray that we would all remember that Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.

May God bless you and your family and may you have a very Merry Christmas!

I’ve never actually been to a service at Evergreen, just some other activities that have taken place there. All the people that I know that go there say it’s a great church.

Right now I go to church in Blaine.

We’ve been there a year or so and are getting to know a lot of people. The people and the church as a whole are pretty passionate about learning and living God’s word. We were hooked, when our kids actually learned in Sunday School rather than just doing a craft. Where do you go to church now? Maybe I’ll run into you at Evergreen sometime?
