WMD: The Murderous Reign of Saddam Hussein

At over 1-1/2 hours long, WMD : The Murderous Reign of Saddam Hussein is not your typical YouTube video.  It is however, a great reminder of how we got into Iraq and why.  With our current administration apologizing to the world for our presence in the middle east I think it is vitally important to remember what really went on over the last several decades in Iraq.

I recommend grabbing a cup of coffee and watching something that you probably don’t ever remember seeing in the mainstream media.

I would guess I disagree with 90% of what is posted over at Washington Outsiders.  I’d guess there is another 5-7% that I find thought provoking and worthy of a slower read, health-care being one of those items, strip mining mountains another and I’m sure there were more.   Humor makes up the last percent or two or three and their recent post attention: true patriots falls right in there.  It’s hilarious and sorta kinda bipartisan, if no matter your persuasion, you think the other guys are the ones doin’ the diggin’.

Ronald Reagan on Socialized Medicine and Socialism

Filed under: National Issue — Tags: — wally @ 6:55 am

Ronald Reagan speaks against socialized medicine and Socialism in this 10 minute recording that was part of the 1961 Operation Coffee Cup Campaign against a Socialized Medicine program that was proposed by the Democrats of this time.    Then actor only, Ronald Reagan speaks against the program which eventually became medicare and also talks about the potential future of Socialism in our nation.  In hindsight, this is another example of the great vision he had.  We should continue to listen.
