Seek his face

Sunday, May 25th, 2008

Evergreen’s scripture for today is one of my personal favorites; God speaking about how our prayers can effect healing in our land.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (2Ch 7:14)

s2s Sadly, I’ll be missing service this morning, however my day will most assuredly be filled with much prayer. And God willing, praise, for his hand in the safety of our canoe, and 400+ others, traveling down the Nooksack.

**evening update**  While rising rivers leading to a canceled canoe leg is not what I was expecting; I can only praise God, who in his own mysterious ways, delivered safety for all racers.

2008 National Day of Prayer

Thursday, May 1st, 2008

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.
(2Ch 7:14-15)

He is watching

He is listening.

Don’t leave Him hanging.
